DGL Global Logistics LLCJob Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customs Brokerage Entry Writer / Forwarder to join our global trade management team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate customs entries, ensuring seamless clearance of goods across international borders. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with complex customs regulations, facilitate efficient freight movement, and support our supply chain operations. Duties Prepare and process customs entries using advanced knowledge of customs brokerage management systems and global trade management software Ensure compliance with all applicable customs regulations, including FDA regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions, and transportation safety regulations Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate timely clearance and delivery of shipments Maintain detailed records of customs documentation, regulatory reporting, and risk management activities Analyze Excel data for import/export tracking, compliance audits, and report writing purposes Monitor changes in international trade regulations and update procedures accordingly to ensure ongoing compliance Manage export documentation and oversee import management processes to optimize supply chain efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in customs brokerage management or freight forwarding with a strong understanding of customs clearance management Knowledge of international trade regulations, including FDA regulations, OFAC compliance, and transportation safety standards Technical proficiency with global trade management software, Excel data analysis tools, and other relevant systems Familiarity with logistics compliance, regulatory reporting, and risk management practices within a supply chain context Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail in documentation processes Ability to stay current on evolving customs regulations and implement necessary adjustments in procedures Join us if you’re passionate about navigating the complexities of international trade!
