Here are some details about the position - Customer Service & Shipping Coordinator Delavan Ag Pumps, Inc. – Minneapolis, MN Full-Time | Non-Exempt Purpose of Position The Customer Service & Shipping Coordinator supports customer service, order processing and shipping activities and serves as a key link between Customer Service, Production/Planning and Shipping. This position helps ensure customer orders and RMAs are processed accurately, communicated appropriately and completed in a timely manner. This role is perfect opportunity to transition into a sales role or operations role within the company. Key Responsibilities Enter and process customer orders accurately and assist customers with order status, availability, shipping and routine product questions. Provide Customer Service phone coverage and backup support for the Customer Service inbox. Monitor open orders, allocations and shipping requirements and coordinate with Customer Service, Planning/Production and Shipping to keep orders moving. Maintain and manage the shipping schedule to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Ensure pick tickets and required shipping information are available when orders are ready for shipment. Prepare shipping documents, labels, ASNs and customer portal documentation; coordinate freight and carrier pickups as needed. Track shipments and help resolve shipping discrepancies or customer delivery issues. Own and coordinate the RMA process, including entering and tracking RMAs, receiving in and coordinating the weekly RMA review, communicating results to customers, arranging required shipping and following RMAs through completion. Crosstrain on customer portals and other Customer Service & Shipping processes to provide coverage during absences and busy periods. Assist with packing, shipping and other warehouse activities as needed. Maintain accurate records and follow established company procedures. Qualifications Previous customer service, order entry, shipping, logistics or related experience preferred. Strong computer skills; ERP/order-entry system and customer portal experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Strong communication, organization and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and follow tasks through completion. Ability to work independently and effectively across departments. Dependable attendance and flexibility to assist where needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when assisting with shipping activities. Key Accountability The Customer Service & Shipping Coordinator is expected to take ownership of assigned customer orders, shipping activities and RMAs and follow them through to completion, escalating issues when additional assistance is needed.
