Customer Service / Shipping Associate

Position: Customer Service / Shipping Associate (Full-Time) Location: Springfield, MO 65804 Company Overview: We are a dynamic, family-owned business based in the heart of Springfield, seeking a highly organized and personable individual to serve as a Customer Service / Shipping Associate. As a point of contact for our clients, the Customer Service / Shipping Associate will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for all visitors. Job Responsibilities: Warmly greet and assist clients upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service. Answer and manage inbound calls in a professional manner. Process new orders and create detailed invoices in our job tracking software. Manage client transactions and accept payments. Present completed orders to customers with accuracy and professionalism. Perform other administrative tasks as required to support daily operations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Experience with multi-line phone systems and office management. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Proficient typing skills. Familiarity with QuickBooks and data entry processes strongly preferred. Previous customer service experience (minimum of 1 year) required. A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in clerical and administrative roles. Associate degree or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift objects up to 50lbs. Ability to remain on your feet intermittently throughout the day. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM No evenings or weekends required. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly rate: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour Paid time off Eligibility Requirements: Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Springfield, MO 65804 before starting.
