Overview At AdeptHR, we connect logistics precision with exceptional customer care. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with a background in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing to serve as the critical link between our warehouse operations and our clients. In this role, you will do more than answer questions—you will actively manage the flow of orders, coordinate with carriers, and ensure that our retail partners receive their shipments on time and in full compliance. If you enjoy solving practical puzzles, working in a steady operational rhythm, and keeping clients informed, this role offers a direct path to growing your career in logistics and supply chain operations. What Success Looks Like In your day-to-day work, you will balance administrative organization with clear client communication. You will be successful if you can manage multiple shifting priorities while keeping a close eye on the details. Your daily and weekly responsibilities will include: Allocating orders in our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to keep the warehouse floor running efficiently. Generating UCC and shipping labels, and submitting and collecting routing requests. Creating accurate Bills of Lading (BOL) and coordinating LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and TL (Truckload) shipments. Managing small parcel shipping operations using tools like FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship. Providing proactive, professional updates to customers regarding their order status and resolving shipping inquiries promptly. Invoicing customers for value-added services accurately. Collaborating closely with warehouse captains, managers, and other team members to keep operations running smoothly. Over time, success in this role means helping our facility maintain a high vendor compliance rating, reducing chargebacks, and building strong, trusting relationships with our customers. What You Bring Must-Have Qualifications A professional background in a logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment. Practical experience handling routing requests and vendor compliance for retailers. A solid understanding of basic shipping practices, including the operational differences between LTL and TL shipments. Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight daily shipping deadlines. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Two or more years of experience working in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and VICS Bills of Lading. Hands-on experience using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship. Bilingual communication skills. Join Our Team If you are ready to bring your logistics experience to a team that values your organization, problem-solving skills, and dedication to customer service, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application today so we can discuss how your skills align with our team's goals.
