Customer Service Representative for 3PL

This position is responsible for maintaining existing account relations. The candidate needs to have the ability to interact with customers and work effectively, independently, and function within a team environment. Must have experience with Extensiv WMS. Must be familiar with principles of inventory management and inventory best practices. Responsibilities * Day-to-day operations of business including customer interface, planning, organizing, and problem solving while filling customer orders. * Furnish information to customers about receipt and shipment of goods the same day. * Function as personable contact between your customer and their inventory. * Ensure that customer orders and inventory are updated and orderly every day. * Assist Shipping Office and Warehouse Operations on providing scheduled receipts, shipments and any changes to schedules. * Enter all orders and receipts in warehouse management software. *Route orders through vendor routing portals, and schedule pick up with LTL carriers. * Manage shipping and carrier relationships. * Organize appointments for pickups. *Accurately bill out completed transactions from the day’s shipments. Skills and experience *Strong organizational skills are a must for this position. *Attention to detail and follow through are also very important. *Excel / Google Sheets fluency. *Familiarity with vendor routing guidelines. *Familiarity with logistics industry a must, experience of 2+ years in third-party/public warehousing preferable. * Ability to work independently, under supervision, and within a team setting. Must be able to function to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. * Familiarity with G Suite. * Effective writing and customer service skills. * Strong analysis, problem solving, and creative skills. * hablar español es también beneficial Education AA/ Bachelor's degree preferred.
