Customer Service Representative

Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Customer Service Representative with extensive experience working with major apparel retailers and retailer routing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation, or 3PL operations and be capable of managing customer coordination, routing, scheduling, and shipment execution in a fast-paced environment. The Customer Service Representative will carry out all customer service activities including responding to customer inquiries, processing orders and receipts, coordinating pickups with carriers, and handling customer concerns in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. This position will also support day-to-day distribution activities and customer coordination for shipments and transfers to major retailers while ensuring compliance with retailer routing guides and shipping requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Contact retail traffic departments through retailer websites, phone calls, and email communication. Submit required shipment information through retailer portals, including purchase orders and shipping windows. Review retailer shipping guides to ensure compliance with routing and shipping requirements. Monitor shipments according to retailer-specific instructions and delivery requirements. Manage and maintain open order reports. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests. Schedule shipments for orders ready for processing. Communicate load requirements to drivers to facilitate efficient transportation. Utilize online routing systems and retailer portals effectively. Collaborate closely with Account Managers and internal departments. Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork in a timely manner to support billing processes. Prepare bills of lading and shipping documentation accurately. Calculate product quantities using weight and volumetric measurements. Coordinate shipment tracking and delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery within shipping windows. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of routing experience in logistics, trucking, or a 3PL environment. Extensive experience working with major apparel retailers and retailer routing guides required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
