Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher (Home Services)

We provide chimney and fireplace services, air duct cleaning and attic insulation across Dallas Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio. We are looking for a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative who will be the first voice our customers hear. You will answer calls and messages, turn inquiries into booked jobs, and keep our technicians' schedule running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the phone, loves being organized, and gets real satisfaction from closing a booking. What you will do Answer incoming calls, texts and messages from Google, Yelp, Thumbtack, Facebook and our website quickly and professionally Turn inquiries into booked appointments by explaining our services, answering questions and offering the right solution Follow up with leads who did not book on the first contact Build the daily schedule and dispatch technicians across multiple cities Own our field service software (Workiz): create jobs, update customer records, send confirmations and reminders, and keep everything accurate Confirm appointments, handle reschedules and keep customers informed about arrival windows Provide friendly, patient customer service and resolve concerns before they become complaints What we are looking for English, spoken and written (required) 1+ years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, call center, customer service or inside sales (home services, HVAC, plumbing or similar is a strong plus) Excellent phone manner: clear, warm, confident and patient Comfortable selling: you can explain value, handle "how much does it cost" and "let me think about it," and close the booking Very comfortable with computers, phones and software. You learn new systems fast Organized and detail oriented. You never let a lead or a message slip through Reliable and consistent, with a stable work history.
