Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher

Helton Plumbing Hero is a growing plumbing company serving homeowners throughout Chicago’s northwest suburbs from our office in Island Lake. We’re looking for one person to be the hub of our office: the first voice our customers hear, the person who keeps our plumbers on track, and the one who keeps the office organized. This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to learn the business from the inside and grow with us. What you’ll do: Customer service Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls with a friendly, helpful attitude Schedule service calls, maintenance visits, and estimates Follow up on quotes, estimates, and maintenance agreements Make follow-up calls after jobs to make sure customers are happy Dispatch Build and manage the daily schedule and dispatch board in ServiceTitan Assign calls to plumbers and adjust when plans change (and they will) Keep customers and techs updated by phone, text, and email Light administration Pull permits for jobs and track them through to completion Data entry, filing, and keeping customer records up to date Help with invoicing and taking payments Answer emails and keep the office running smoothly You’re a great fit if: You have customer service, call center, or dispatch experience (home services or plumbing is a big plus) You stay calm and friendly when the phones are ringing and the schedule is changing You’re organized and good with details You’re comfortable with computers; ServiceTitan experience is a plus You communicate clearly with customers and technicians alike You like chocolate (just checking that you read this far; mention it in your application!) What we offer: $18–$23 per hour, based on experience Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
