We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to join our team. Position Summary The Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher is responsible for being a primary point of contact for customers while coordinating daily service calls, installations, and technician schedules. This position requires excellent communication, organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Schedule service calls, repairs, installations, and estimates. Dispatch installers and service technicians based on location, availability, skill level, and job requirements. Communicate schedule changes and updates with customers and field employees. Confirm appointments and follow up with customers regarding scheduled work. Enter and maintain accurate customer and job information in company software. Monitor technician schedules throughout the day and make adjustments as needed. Communicate job details, special instructions, and customer concerns to field personnel. Assist customers with questions regarding services, appointments, pricing, and general garage door needs. Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and work toward timely resolutions. Follow up on completed jobs when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Coordinate parts, materials, and equipment needs with technicians and management. Maintain accurate records of service calls, cancellations, reschedules, and completed work. Assist with invoicing, payments, and other administrative tasks as needed. Work closely with management and field employees to keep daily operations running efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous customer service, dispatch, scheduling, or office experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment. Professional and friendly telephone manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working with computers, scheduling software, email, and other office technology. Ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions. Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, vendors, and management. Garage door, construction, home-services, or similar industry experience is a plus, but not required. Work Environment This is an office-based position that involves frequent communication with customers, technicians, installers, and management. The position can be fast-paced, particularly during busy service periods, and requires the ability to manage changing priorities throughout the day.
