Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits of various items Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance their purchase experience Maintain merchandising standards by organizing shelves, restocking products, and ensuring attractive displays Stock shelves efficiently to keep the store organized and inviting for shoppers Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and product replenishment Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Completing the proper paperwork/entering umbers in the system Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders over the phone Assist team member where deemed necessary Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory tasks Experience with grocery store operations or retail merchandising is advantageous Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a team committed to delivering outstanding retail experiences!
