Position Summary Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a customer-focused professional to support customer accounts, order management, and planning and purchasing activities. This role works closely with customers, internal teams, and global manufacturing sites to coordinate orders, monitor inventory and delivery schedules, and resolve issues. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities while ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Account Management Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, availability, shipment status, lead times, pricing and escalations in timely manner. Build strong customer relationships through responsive communication and professional problem-solving. Handle customer concerns with urgency while maintaining a high level of professionalism via email and phone to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction. Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently through internal order management systems. Review product, shipping, and documentation requirements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery. Access customer portals as needed to retrieve orders or provide updates. Planning & Purchasing Support purchasing activities, order planning, inventory tracking, and supply coordination. Communicates to internal and external customers and foreign manufacturing sites to receive and give information. Plan and schedule orders from subsidiaries. Verifies incoming shipments and outgoing product orders to ensure proper match of supply and demand. Maintains records of imported product orders to reconcile with accounting. Expedites orders to satisfy customer needs. Tracks orders to identify status and ensure on-time delivery. Updates procedures, manuals to have latest revisions and resources. Communicate extensively to foreign site personnel to meet expedites, cancel requests or push out requests. Provide Proforma Invoices to foreign sites, work with them for tracking details, work with warehouse to process po receipt and bill only. Maintain dates in QAD based on committed ship dates from non-EDI suppliers. Maintain ASN’s in QAD from non-EDI suppliers. Order Management & Operational Execution Process and maintain customer orders accurately using ERP and business systems. Monitor order activity and proactively identify delays, shortages, or fulfillment concerns. Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Product Management, and Operations teams. Coordination & Issue Resolution Monitor daily status of orders, including late or held orders; proactively identify solutions such as expedited shipping or product alternatives. Work with Finance and customer contacts to help resolve invoice discrepancies or outstanding receivables. Collaborate closely with Sales and Product Marketing to escalate issues and support customer needs.
