Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Customer Service & Order Packer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and exceptional customer satisfaction. In this energetic position, you'll handle order fulfillment with precision, operate heavy equipment safely, and maintain organized inventory systems. Your proactive approach will support efficient shipping, receiving, and packaging processes, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. Duties Accurately pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure correct items are shipped. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment following safety protocols. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards and manual handling procedures. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring stock levels are accurate and up-to-date. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by stocking shelves, organizing pallets, and preparing items for shipment or storage. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and updating inventory records. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to promote a safe working environment. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems is advantageous. Experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is highly desirable; certification is a plus. Knowledge of barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures will help you excel in this role. Basic math skills are necessary for counting stock and verifying shipments accurately. Previous warehouse supervision experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and load/unload activities safely and efficiently.
