Holiday Traditions is an established and growing ecommerce business specializing in personalized gifts. We're looking for a motivated, resourceful, and highly organized individual to join our Sarasota team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, thinks independently, takes initiative, and wants to build a career with room for advancement. You'll work directly alongside company ownership, help coordinate our remote customer service team, and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business, including customer service, administration, order processing, shipping, and operations. This is not a traditional customer service position where you'll spend your entire day following scripts or answering repetitive questions. We're looking for someone who wants to learn, contribute ideas, take ownership of responsibilities, and become an increasingly important part of our company. What You'll Be Doing Customer Service & Team Coordination Coordinate and support our remote customer service team. Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve complex order issues. Monitor customer service quality, outstanding tickets, and follow-ups. Identify recurring customer issues and recommend improvements. Communicate with customers across Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, and other ecommerce platforms. Administrative & Office Support Work closely with company ownership on daily administrative tasks and special projects. Assist with scheduling, purchasing, and ordering supplies. Communicate with suppliers, shipping carriers, and business clients. Track outstanding tasks, organize information, and ensure follow-ups are completed. Gradually take ownership of additional administrative and operational responsibilities. Order Processing & Operations Learn our ecommerce, shipping, and order-management software. Assist with processing, printing, and organizing customer orders. Coordinate with warehouse and production staff to resolve order issues. Develop a working understanding of our personalization, production, fulfillment, and shipping processes. Provide hands-on operational support when needed. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, administration, office support, or a similar professional environment. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar software quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work independently. A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative. Professionalism, reliability, and good judgment. Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced small-business environment. A genuine desire to develop new skills and take on greater responsibility. Preferred but Not Required Experience with Zendesk or other customer service platforms. Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Etsy, or ShipStation. Experience coordinating colleagues or remote teams. Experience in ecommerce, shipping, fulfillment, or inventory management.
