CUSTOMER SERVICE DISPATCHER

Description: JLT Trucking is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring a positive experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues will be key to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Duties Answer and respond to customer calls, emails, and service requests Assist with scheduling pickups, service changes, and resolving issues Support dispatch by tracking tickets and ensuring follow-up on open items Update customer records and account details in the system Provide clear communication to customers regarding service status, delays, or billing questions Escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor when needed Work closely with operations to ensure accurate routing and scheduling information Assist with invoice or billing / account-related questions by gathering information and relaying to the billing team Help identify recurring issues or service challenges and provide feedback for improvements Requirements: Skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills Experience in call center environments or customer support roles preferred Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing our ability to serve diverse clients Sales experience is beneficial for upselling products or services when appropriate Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction Typing proficiency for efficient data entry tasks Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions Requirements: 1–2 years of customer service experience (waste industry experience a plus) Strong communication and listening skills Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Team player with a focus on delivering excellent customer service Join us in delivering outstanding service that makes a difference!
