Customer Service and Operation - Freight forwarding Shipping

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to manage freight forwarding operations and support clients throughout the shipment lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of cargo while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, documentation, and service inquiries Coordinate import and export shipments (air, sea, and/or road) from booking to final delivery Prepare, review, and process shipping documents such as BLs, AWBs, invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork Track shipments and provide proactive status updates to customers Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, warehouses, customs brokers, and overseas agents Handle customer complaints, delays, and discrepancies efficiently and professionally Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, company SOPs, and customer requirements Update shipment data accurately in the freight management system Support sales and operations teams with customer quotations and service follow-ups Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous service improvement Requirements & Qualification 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping customer service Strong understanding of import/export procedures and Incoterms Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficiency in MS Office and freight/logistics software Preferred Skills Experience with both air and ocean freight Knowledge of customs clearance processes Customer-centric mindset with strong follow-through Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Work Location: In person
