Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator acts as a central point between sales, operations, drivers, production, logistics, and customers to ensure effective management of orders and deliveries. 

This role combines responsibilities related to order coordination, inventory tracking, delivery planning, and operational support to ensure reliable supply and efficient execution of daily operations. 

The incumbent plays a key role in managing operational priorities, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining a high level of service and efficiency. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Monitor inventory levels at tanks and customer sites and place replenishment orders as required.  
  • Create and manage orders in SAP based on established schedules, received purchase orders, or communications from sales and operations teams.  
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate trucks for deliveries according to operational priorities and customer needs.  
  • Optimize delivery routes to reduce mileage and improve transportation efficiency.  
  • Keep information up to date in routing tools, delivery tracking systems, and internal systems.  
  • Verify delivery tickets and quantities delivered following shipments.  
  • Adjust, close, and invoice orders in SAP based on actual quantities delivered.  
  • Maintain reports on open orders, delivery schedules, and daily operational follow-ups.  
  • Communicate proactively with sales teams, logistics coordinators, drivers, field technicians, and plant managers.  
  • Identify and promptly communicate risks that could impact deliveries, inventory levels, or operations.  
  • Maintain data accuracy in SAP and operational systems. 

Qualifications

  • ​​​​​Bilingual in French and English required. 
  • College diploma (DEC) in administration, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.  
  • Experience in logistics coordination, operations, transportation, dispatch, or order management.  
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system.  
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.  
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or transportation environment (an asset).
