Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Customer Property Specialist to support the management and accountability of Customer Furnished Equipment (CFE) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) at our Johnstown, PA facility. In this critical role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, tracking, storing, issuing, and reporting customer and U.S. Government-owned material while ensuring compliance with established procedures and contractual requirements. Working closely with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams, you will help maintain accurate inventory records, support material flow throughout production, and ensure timely shipment, receipt, and reporting of customer property that directly supports mission-critical defense programs. RESPONSIBILITIES: On receipt, inspect and verify items with regards to originating documentation for count, serial numbers, vendor/owner/shipper, physical condition, etc. Enter receipt information into the appropriate database (e.g., RMS, ERP, Excel, etc.) and report receipt of material to the appropriate personnel. Maintain inventory records of all CFE and GFE including scrap and non-scrap items stored at the Kongsberg Protech USA facility. Prepare and ship material to sub-supply and other vendors/owners in accordance with approved shipping procedures. Enter shipping information into the appropriate database and maintain records of shipments to sub-supply and other vendors/owners. Receive and catalog scrap from manufacturing and various other owners/places. Enter data into the appropriate database (PCARRS, RMS, etc.) and report status to the appropriate personnel Liaise with DCMA and other government and non-government representatives to expedite the receipt, inspection, and disposition processes for CFE/GFE material. Coordinate and schedule demil of CFE/GFE in accordance with current procedures. Record and report shipments of goods shipped to Kongsberg in error (e.g., discrepant material, frustrated freight, etc.) Assist in creation of reports for the Customer Property Lead, Warehouse Manager, and others as requested. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High school diploma/general education degree (GED) required. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPEREINCE: 3+ years of government property and inventory related experience required. ANY ADDITIONAL, PERIODIC OR OCCASIONAL DUTIES: Provide support to the warehouse shipping, receiving and stockroom areas. Provide support to manufacturing and marketing for shipment and of parts and marketing materials. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM LEARNING TIME FOR THIS POSITION: 3-6 months.
