We’re looking for a Customer Order Coordinator to keep orders accurate and customers informed from booking through delivery, changes, and collection. You’ll work with sales, inventory, and dispatch colleagues and report to the Customer Operations Manager. This is a customer service and administrative position. We provide training on our furniture range, rental agreements, and order-management system. What you’ll do Enter and update rental orders, checking product selections, quantities, addresses, dates, and approved pricing. Confirm availability with the inventory team and help customers review alternatives when an item is unavailable. Coordinate delivery requirements, including building access, loading docks, elevator reservations, and site contacts. Answer customer questions by phone and email and communicate updates when plans change. Process approved extensions, exchanges, and collection requests, keeping the relevant teams informed. Maintain clear order notes and help resolve delivery or billing discrepancies with operations and finance. You’ll support existing inquiries and confirmed orders. This position has no cold-calling requirement or individual sales quota. What you’ll bring Around one year of experience in customer service, retail, administration, reservations, or order processing. Clear written and verbal communication and a patient approach to customer questions. Confidence using email, shared calendars, and spreadsheets. Accuracy when checking dates, quantities, prices, and customer details. The ability to organize several requests and follow up until the next step is confirmed. A college degree and furniture-industry experience are not required. Experience with a CRM or order-management system is helpful, but training is provided. Schedule and location This role works from our Dallas office alongside the showroom and operations team. The regular schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time , with a one-hour unpaid lunch: 40 working hours per week . Occasional overtime may be needed during busy installation periods and is discussed in advance. Hours worked above 40 in a workweek are paid at 1.5 times your regular rate. There is no regular weekend schedule, on-call rotation, or business travel. Furniture delivery, lifting, and installation are handled by our warehouse and field teams. Pay and benefits $24–$27 per hour , depending on relevant experience and order-coordination skills; no commission. Approximately $49,920–$56,160 annually at 2,080 paid hours, excluding overtime.
