Spruce is currently searching for a Customer Order & Fulfillment Specialist in our Denver, CO location. The Customer Order & Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for processing orders assigned to all warehouses and assisting in fulfilling customer orders assigned to the Colorado warehouse. This position monitors open orders, coordinates priorities with the warehouse team, and helps ensure orders move quickly and accurately from entry through shipment. The position also provides backup support to the Customer Care department by answering customer calls during high-volume periods. This role reports to the CO Site Lead and works closely with the Customer Care, Sales team and other departments to support positive customer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Order Processing and Fulfillment Process customer orders assigned to any warehouse, received via website, via email or via request from account manager. Review orders for accuracy, product availability, shipping requirements, and special instructions. Pick, verify, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup by customer or local delivery service. Complete order, shipping, and inventory transactions accurately in Epicor. Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and within established shipping expectations. Coordinate local pickup, expedited, freight, and other orders requiring special handling. Communicate order questions or exceptions to the Customer Care Manager or appropriate department. Open Order Management Monitor the Colorado warehouse’s open orders throughout the day. Prioritize orders based on ship-by dates, customer commitments, availability, and shipping requirements. Follow up on orders that have not progressed from entry to shipment as expected. Identify back orders, inventory shortages, shipping holds, or other issues that may delay fulfillment. Work with the Site Lead, Customer Care, Sales, and other departments to resolve order issues. Help maintain a fast and consistent order-to-shipment cycle. Customer Care Support Provide backup support on phones to the Customer Care department during high-volume periods or temporary staffing needs. Enter customer orders accurately and confirm applicable order and shipping information. Answer incoming customer calls and assist with routine order-related questions. Provide customers with order status, availability, and shipping information when appropriate. Transfer or escalate technical, pricing, warranty, credit, or complex service questions to the appropriate Customer Care team member. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse fulfillment, customer service, order processing, or a related position. Experience using an ERP, order-management, or warehouse-management system; Epicor experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy. Ability to monitor multiple orders and priorities throughout the day. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Clear and professional verbal and written communication. Ability to work effectively with both customers and internal teams. High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to work safely in a warehouse environment. The position may occasionally require the employee to: Walk and stand throughout the facility for extended periods. Bend, reach, climb, or move around warehouse equipment and storage areas.
