Customer Operations and Logistics Coordinator

Lang Furniture is a family-owned, nationally recognized manufacturer of high-quality, American-made commercial and hospitality furniture. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Operations and Logistics Coordinator to join our team on-site at our facility in Central Wisconsin (Spencer/Marshfield, WI). In this role, you will be the backbone of our customer service and shipping operations, ensuring our shipments move efficiently, cost-effectively, and on schedule from our production floor to our clients nationwide. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Work with our sales team regarding orders and shipments. Order Writing: Create and verify Sales Orders received from our sales team. Shipment Coordination: Schedule and track shipments with 3rd party carriers. Carrier Management: Secure competitive freight rates and build strong relationships with carriers, fleet operators, and brokers. Documentation Accuracy: Prepare and verify Bills of Lading (BOL), shipping manifests, and required freight paperwork. Problem Resolution: Proactively resolve transit delays, missed pickups, and freight damage claims. Warehouse Liaison: Collaborate closely with the on-site warehouse and assembly teams to optimize staging, loading, and routing schedules. Qualifications & Skills · Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a professional office setting. · Requirement: Must have excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel and Adobe. Basic experience with QuickBooks considered a plus. · Requirement: Must have exceptional people and phone skills and have the ability to get along with others. Location: Ability to work fully on-site Monday through Friday at our facility. Communication: Exceptional phone communication and problem-solving skills.
