• Partner with customer teams to develop strategic relationships and deliver category insights
• Serve as an omnichannel subject matter expert, integrating in-store and online data sources
• Analyze category and market trends using syndicated and retailer sales data
• Create actionable recommendations using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and NielsenIQ / Circana
• Lead the development of business reviews, shelf assortment insights, and executive presentations
• Provide KPI tracking and performance scorecards for customers and internal teams
• Ensure ROI on data, insights, and analytics investments
• Share best practices and contribute to team development initiatives
Qualifications and Experience of Customer Category Manager:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Data Analytics, or related field
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in category management, analytics, shopper insights, or similar roles in the grocery or FMCG industry
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI and Power Query preferred
• Communication: Strong presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills
• Business Acumen: Ability to convert data into actionable strategies and collaborate across functions
• Travel: Willingness to travel 10–25% for customer or internal meetings

Salary:
• Base pay range: $83,000 – $173,000.
