Custom Orders & Warehouse Associate
Tote Bag FactoryJob Summary We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Custom Orders & Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for coordinating customized orders from start to finish. You will prepare merchandise for outside printing partners, track orders through production, communicate with our internal customization team and printing partners, inspect completed products for accuracy and quality, and prepare finished orders for shipment. Because custom products are produced according to customer-approved artwork and specifications, attention to detail and communication are critical in this position. You will also assist with regular warehouse operations as needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare merchandise and custom orders for outside printing partners. Verify products, quantities, colors, styles, and order information before merchandise leaves the warehouse. Communicate regularly with our customization team regarding order status, deadlines, production details, questions, and issues. Coordinate with printing partners regarding pickups, deliveries, timelines, production questions, and order completion. Track multiple custom orders through different stages of production and follow up when necessary. Receive completed customized merchandise back from printing partners. Inspect finished products against approved customer mockups and order specifications. Check artwork, print placement, colors, quantities, product styles, and overall workmanship. Identify and communicate printing, product, or quantity problems before orders are shipped. Repack completed merchandise neatly and accurately. Prepare shipping labels, pack orders, and prepare completed orders for shipment. Assist with receiving, unloading, organizing, and putting away incoming merchandise. Pick, pack, and prepare regular warehouse orders as needed. Assist with loading and unloading shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area. Assist with inventory organization and other warehouse duties as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product or printing quality issues. Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal team members and outside vendors. Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple orders at different stages without losing track of details. Ability to accurately follow written instructions, order specifications, and visual mockups. Basic computer skills and ability to learn order management and shipping systems. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to stand and move throughout the workday and perform normal warehouse duties, including lifting and moving boxes. Preferred Experience Previous experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Warehouse or fulfillment Shipping and receiving Order coordination Printing or promotional products Quality control Inventory management What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a custom order from beginning to end. You will help make sure the correct merchandise goes to the printer, production stays on track, completed products match the customer's approved specifications, and finished orders are shipped accurately and on time. You will serve as an important connection between our warehouse team, customization team, and printing partners , as well as one of the final quality-control checkpoints before custom orders are shipped to customers.
