uired to:
• Build custom wood crates, pallets, skids, and shipping containers to customer and company specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and secure lumber using hand and power tools.
• Read work orders, drawings, and packaging requirements to ensure accurate crate construction.
• Prepare products for safe domestic and international shipment.
• Inspect finished crates and pallets for quality, durability, and compliance with shipping requirements.
• Maintain inventory of lumber, fasteners, and packaging materials.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies.
Qualifications
• Experience in carpentry, crate building, pallet manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to safely use saws, nail guns, drills, and other hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measuring devices and perform accurate measurements.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
