BFS Services Inc. is NOW HIRING | 16-Foot Cube Van Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) Position Overview BFS Services Inc. is a full-service third-party logistics (3PL) provider serving the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious 16-foot cube van driver to complete commercial deliveries and pickups, primarily in Downtown Dallas and surrounding areas. We take pride in timely, accurate deliveries and professional customer service. This is a physically active freight delivery position—not a driving-only or dock-to-dock role. Drivers load their own vehicles and move freight to authorized customer delivery locations, including office buildings and designated receiving areas. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a 16-foot cube van and complete assigned deliveries and pickups efficiently; use GPS and local route knowledge. Deliver to the correct customer, suite, office, or authorized receiving area; obtain signatures and proof of delivery. Communicate professionally with customers, building personnel, security, and dispatch; report delays and delivery exceptions promptly. Load your own vehicle; verify PRO numbers, skid counts, piece counts, and shipping documentation before departure. Position and secure freight to prevent shifting or damage; report shortages, overages, and damage. Use a manual pallet jack and hydraulic liftgate to load and unload freight; use a two-wheel hand truck/dolly to move individual pieces into office buildings and other authorized delivery areas. Break down pallets when needed for authorized deliveries and when safe to do so. Complete required daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs). Report mechanical defects, vehicle maintenance concerns, and safety issues through the Samsara app; keep the vehicle clean and safe. Follow applicable traffic laws, DOT/FMCSA requirements, and BFS Services safety policies; report accidents and incidents immediately. Minimum Qualifications At least three (3) years of recent, verifiable commercial driving experience. Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) meeting company and insurer standards. Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card), if required for the assigned vehicle and operations. Experience driving a cube van, box truck, or similar commercial delivery vehicle preferred. Ability to safely use manual pallet jacks, liftgates, and two-wheel hand trucks. Familiarity with Downtown Dallas delivery locations, GPS navigation, and mobile applications preferred. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. Ability to operate manual-transmission equipment if assigned. Physical Demands Lift and handle freight up to 70 pounds, using appropriate assistance or equipment when needed. Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, climb, and enter and exit the vehicle throughout the day. Move palletized and loose freight in commercial buildings and perform deliveries in varying weather conditions. Work Schedule, Pay & Benefits Starting pay: $20.00 per hour. Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 AM; ending time varies and the workday continues until all scheduled deliveries and assigned duties are completed. All hours worked are paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour requirements and company payroll policies.
