The Clinical Operations Director - Clinical Trials Office (CTO) is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations and designated as the lead point of contact for assigned area. Develops policies, procedures, and goals, oversees the budget process, resolves problems, manages personnel, communicates effectively with staff, and implements programs to maximize the effectiveness of assigned operations.

Duties:
- Prepares and leads presentations to executive leadership, committees, staff, etc.
- Attends meetings and conferences.
- Provides oversight and coordinates variety of activities to nurses, case managers, administrative staff, and clerical staff.
- Manages group initiatives and special projects.
- Identifies and develops research and funding opportunities
- Writes research papers, reports, reviews and summaries to ensure findings are well documented
- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with federal, state, and local government agencies and corporate affiliates to develop business plans
- Provides clear communication to all departments, participates, and supports performance improvement initiatives for research teams
- Makes recommendations, assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and ensure consistency of standard practices.
- Partners with Physician Leadership Team, Executive Officers, and other stakeholders in developing strategic and operating plans
- Develops and implements strategic and business goals of the organization
- Manages projects for growth and revenue enhancement; plan, model and analyze growth opportunities.
- Oversees operational budgets and works with directors and managers, as well as physicians, and leadership teams to ensure that operations are compliant with approved budget
- Reviews expenditures and makes recommendations for improvement
- Mentors staff in effective problem resolution and conducts performance appraisals and assesses staff needs; proactively participates in management functions and serves as a positive role model for peers and staff including making recommendations for organizational improvement.
- Interacts positively with Clinic Medical Directors, Section Chiefs, Department Chairs and Executive Team.
- Oversees planning and development of new services, ambulatory clinic expansions or build-outs including program analysis and funding, and completes associated project reporting
- Negotiates and purchases of equipment or other contract agreements
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Required Education and Experience\: Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field, AND:
- 48 months in a leadership role in a healthcare setting, clinical practice, or related field.

Certifications or Licenses\: Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Oklahoma OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Certified Case Manager
