Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CSR Logist Company professional to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities Coordinate freight shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management. Manage vehicle dispatching processes, ensuring timely deployment of fleet resources while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS technology to monitor routes, optimize transportation planning, and improve delivery efficiency. Maintain accurate data entry related to shipping & receiving logs, freight details, and internal communication records using Microsoft Office tools. Oversee road transportation operations by coordinating with drivers, 3PL (Third-Party Logistics providers), and internal teams for smooth dispatching and freight handling. Handle phone call management with professionalism using multi-line phone systems; communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal departments. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including DOT guidelines, while managing internal communication channels for issue resolution and updates. Support logistics activities by analyzing data for process improvements, assisting in fleet management tasks, and maintaining vehicle dispatch schedules. Experience Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles within a transportation or freight environment. Strong knowledge of road transportation operations, freight management, and shipping & receiving procedures. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms. Experience with vehicle dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, GIS applications, and fleet management systems. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Demonstrated communication skills for effective phone etiquette and internal collaboration across departments. Ability to analyze logistical data using analysis skills to identify efficiencies and resolve issues promptly.
