Crew Leader/Mover

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee our team and ensure efficient operations in our daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage various logistical tasks. As a Crew Leader, you will play a crucial role in coordinating daily activities, supervising staff, and ensuring that all moves and deliveries are executed smoothly and safely. Professional Moving Experience required as you will be on jobs daily Duties: Supervise and lead a team of staff to ensure optimal performance. Operate vehicles such as box trucks for moves and deliveries as needed. Oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed. Maintain clear communication with team members to address any issues or concerns that arise during operations. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to our daily operations and services. Day-to-day operations: Each day prior to a job, management will send out details of the move/ delivery scheduled. That way you'll know what to expect on the job, who you're working with, where the job is located, and if there is a truck or not. If there is a truck being used on the job, the crew lead will be provided information about whether they are picking up RnB Movers truck or an U-haul/Penske that we lease. Meaning we do not currently operate out of a warehouse If it's a "just muscle" job, you will drive to the job location. Depending on where the job is, it will depend on the minimum hours as we put into consideration travel. Some areas are 2 hour minimums, some are 3 hour minimums, and others are 4 hour minimums. We would ask until you got your RnB shirt to wear a black shirt, gloves, etc. All the services we offer and our crew complete: Moves (residential and commercial) Pickup & delivery Junk removal & house clean-outs Out-of-state moves Packing/unpacking Qualifications: Proven experience in a leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Proven professional moving experience (loading, unloading, specialty items, heavy items) Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving; van driving experience is a plus. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe handling of goods. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience with route driving and an understanding of moving logistics is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and tasks.
