NOW HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Crate Builder / Packer Deufol | 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM Deufol is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Crate Builders/Packers! If you enjoy working with your hands, have experience using hand and power tools, and take pride in doing quality work, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will build wooden crates, package products, and prepare materials for safe transportation. This is a hands-on manufacturing position that requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow measurements and instructions. What You'll Be Doing Build wooden shipping crates according to production plans and specifications. Read and follow crate designs using BoxCAD software. Measure, cut, and prepare materials for crate construction. Safely package and protect products for shipment. Use hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment. Secure products using foam, strapping, foil sealing, and other packing materials. Complete production paperwork and required documentation. Perform basic equipment checks and minor maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. What We're Looking For Experience using hand and power tools is required. Woodworking, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read a tape measure and understand measurements. Basic math skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work from production plans. Dependable, motivated, and comfortable with physical work. Previous crate building, packing, or shipping experience is a plus. High school diploma or GED preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Comfortable working on concrete floors. Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 50+ lbs. Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb as needed. Comfortable working with tools and materials throughout the shift.
