CRAFT BARTENDER

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Craft Bartender to elevate our beverage program and deliver exceptional service in a lively, upscale environment. As a Craft Bartender, you will craft innovative cocktails, serve a curated selection of spirits, wines, and craft beers, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and customer engagement will be key to fostering a vibrant atmosphere that keeps patrons coming back. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets high-quality standards. Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep our menu fresh and exciting, incorporating current trends and guest preferences. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests professionally, taking drink orders accurately, and offering personalized recommendations. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, wines, beers, garnishes, and bar supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed. Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to promote guest safety. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments with a strong background in mixology and cocktail creation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, beverage recipe development, and food pairing techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings with a focus on customer satisfaction and hospitality excellence. Strong understanding of food safety standards, alcohol regulations, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Experience working at events like banquets or catering functions is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for inventory management.
