Courtesy Transportation Advisor (Loaner Fleet Coordinator)

Join the Thompson Team! Thompson Buick GMC Cadillac is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated individual to join our Service Department as a Courtesy Transportation Advisor! This position plays an important role in making sure our customers have a great experience when utilizing one of our courtesy transportation vehicles. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the little details, and enjoys staying busy throughout the day. You'll work closely with our Fleet Manager and Service Management team to help manage the day-to-day operations of our courtesy transportation fleet. What You'll Be Doing Fleet Readiness: Ensure courtesy transportation vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for customers when needed. Vehicle Cleaning: Perform light detailing, including vacuuming interiors, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning windshields and windows. Fleet Coordination: Work with our Fleet Manager to coordinate vehicle availability, returns, assignments, and overall fleet logistics for both internal dealership and customer use. Vehicle Organization: Maintain an organized fleet and ensure vehicles are properly parked, accounted for, and ready for their next assignment. Customer Assistance: Provide a smooth, professional, and efficient experience for customers receiving or returning courtesy vehicles. Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and records associated with courtesy transportation vehicles. GM Compliance: Follow General Motors' courtesy transportation program requirements, policies, and procedures. Team Support: Assist the Fleet Manager and Service Manager with additional responsibilities as needed. What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and ready to work. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks. Friendly, professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers. Ability to follow established procedures and complete paperwork accurately. Willingness to perform light vehicle cleaning and work both indoors and outdoors. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership systems. Previous dealership or fleet experience is a plus, but not required. We're willing to train the right person! A great attitude, strong work ethic, and dependability are more important to us than previous experience. Work Schedule This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a consistent schedule. Monday: OFF Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (one-hour unpaid lunch) Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday: OFF Why Work at Thompson Buick GMC Cadillac?
