Courier/Medical Courier Driver

Job Overview First Priority Medical Courier is seeking dependable and professional Courier / Medical Courier Drivers to provide safe and timely pickup and delivery services throughout Columbus, GA and surrounding areas. Drivers may handle medical specimens, lab materials, prescriptions, medical supplies, dental lab cases, documents, and healthcare-related packages. We also provide general courier and logistics services, including business packages, warehouse pickups and drop-offs, auto parts, supplies, documents, and other approved delivery assignments. Responsibilities Complete scheduled routes and STAT/on-demand deliveries Pick up and deliver medical and general courier items safely and on time Complete warehouse and business pickups and drop-offs as assigned Follow delivery instructions and maintain confidentiality when handling medical items Maintain professional communication with customers and dispatch Use GPS/smartphone applications for routes and delivery updates Maintain a clean, reliable, and properly insured vehicle Driver Requirements Valid driver’s license Reliable personal vehicle Current vehicle registration and automobile insurance Acceptable driving record Smartphone with GPS Dependable, punctual, and professional Ability to follow pickup and delivery instructions Ability to pass background and driving-record checks when required HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogens training may be required for certain medical assignments Compensation Approximately $100–$250 per day, depending on the route or assignment, mileage, number of stops, delivery type, and workload. Compensation and availability of assignments may vary; a specific number of routes, assignments, or daily earnings is not guaranteed.
