Courier/Maintenance - Part-Time
Thumb Bank & TrustSUMMARY – Provide essential courier services and assist in maintaining the functionality and appearance of Thumb Bank & Trust facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Courier Duties: Deliver and pick up bank supplies, documents, and other items between branch locations on pre-determined days. Provide courier services from customer premises to desired branch location/s on pre-determined days. Maintenance Duties: Responsible for the morning mail routine, including processing outgoing mail through mail meter equipment, dropping off and picking up bank mail from the local post office, and sorting incoming mail. Provide minor upkeep of outside grounds including but not limited to, watering landscape and removing weeds or debris, mowing, minor snow removal and application of salt to icy areas. Transport equipment and supplies to special events hosted by the bank as well as assist with set up before and clean up after events. Notify the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator of repairs or areas of concern at any of the branch locations. REQUIRED SKILLS - In order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Safely operate bank vehicle. Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. Works well independently and has strong time management skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently. Comfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing tasks. Successful completion of background check. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None.
