Safeguard EnviroGroup (SEG) is a privately owned and operated, indoor environmental testing and consulting company specializing in mold, asbestos, lead, fire, and other environmental services. We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Courier to support our growing operations throughout Southern California. POSITION OVERVIEW The Courier plays an important role in supporting our daily operations by transporting environmental samples, documents, equipment, supplies, and other materials between company offices, laboratories, job sites, and client locations. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently while communicating with multiple departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Pick up and deliver environmental samples, reports, documents, supplies, and equipment. Transport materials between company offices, laboratories, client locations, and job sites. Ensure timely and accurate pickups and deliveries. Properly handle and secure environmental samples and maintain sample identification and documentation. Communicate delivery updates, delays, and scheduling changes to the office. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned company vehicles. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients, vendors, and coworkers. Assist with additional operational tasks as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Previous courier, delivery, or driving experience preferred. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes. Comfortable using GPS, smartphones, and basic technology. Ability to lift and carry packages, supplies, and equipment as required.
