Courier - Environment Testing - Full-Time, 2nd Shift 1pm - 11pm

Job Description Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols Responsible for quality control of all assignments and completing documents Following and enforcing company health and safety policies. Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance. May assist with data collection and routine sampling, as needed Long distance driving The Courier in this role will drive from Lancaster, PA to Richmond, VA and back, which is 470 miles, and 10 hours round trip. The hours will be 1pm -11pm, starting and ending at the lab in Lancaster, PA. May be asked to drive to other locations as needed based on business needs Additional duties as assigned This role is full-time, 2nd Shift, 1pm -11pm, as the basic hours for the role, but hours may vary some, due to routes and traffic, and could be extended. Candidates who have some flexibility in regards to potentially shifting schedules and hours would be ideal for this position. Qualifications Basic Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle Must be able to use Smartphone. Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours) Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship The ideal candidate would possess: Ability to follow GPS directions Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Additional Information Pay rate: $17.75/hour Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
