Courier Driver

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Courier Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering freight and packages efficiently and safely to various destinations. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver freight and packages across designated deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform minor automotive repairs, and report maintenance needs to ensure optimal vehicle performance Manage delivery documentation accurately, including manifests, delivery receipts, and logs for inbound and outbound shipments Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to load or unload cargo efficiently into the warehouse or commercial vehicle. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or logistics operations Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the go Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and shipment processing Physical ability to lift heavy packages and perform manual tasks regularly during shifts Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Join us if you’re ready to drive your career forward with a company that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service!
