Duties Safely operate your vehical to deliver freight across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary. Follow planned routes accurately while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle condition for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses or route adjustments. Assist with securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure safe transport of freight. Qualifications Experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with knowledge of route driving and freight handling. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Experience driving Strong understanding of safety procedures related to freight transport and vehicle operation.
