Job Overview As a Courier Driver, you’ll transport and deliver packages or freight safely and reliably. You’ll plan efficient routes, handle items with care, and keep customers and colleagues informed about delivery progress. This role offers hands-on work and the opportunity to support smooth, dependable deliveries. Responsibilities Pick up, load, transport, and deliver packages or freight according to schedules and handling instructions. Plan routes, follow road safety practices, and communicate delays or delivery issues promptly. Maintain delivery records, inspect the vehicle, and report maintenance concerns. Use appropriate equipment to move freight safely and assist with loading and unloading. Your impact: Reliable deliveries help customers receive their items on time and enable colleagues to coordinate daily operations. Qualifications Required: Practical commercial driving skills, safe vehicle operation, clear communication, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to handle freight carefully are important for completing deliveries and supporting safe, organized work. Preferred: Experience with forklift operation, heavy equipment, or automotive repair is useful, as is familiarity with freight handling and routine vehicle checks; these strengths can support efficient loading, basic issue reporting, and dependable service.
