Courier Driver

Overview As a Courier Driver, you’ll move freight and deliveries safely and reliably, using GPS navigation to follow assigned routes and keep shipments on schedule. Responsibilities Drive delivery vehicles Load, unload, and secure freight, including manual handling of cargo. Follow GPS directions, route plans, and safe driving practices. Comply with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including hazardous materials requirements when transporting dangerous goods. Skills Required: Valid license and qualifications for the assigned vehicle; safe driving, delivery driving, and manual transmission skills as applicable. Required: Ability to handle logistics cargo, load and unload freight, and follow safe lifting and cargo-securement procedures. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed or tanker equipment, and freight handling. Preferred: Hazmat (hazardous materials) knowledge and familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, and dangerous goods regulations. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: On the road
