Courier/Delivery Driver

Monday-Friday 7am Start Time 45-50 hour work week with overtime after 40 hours Make pickups and deliveries driving company cargo van. Demonstrate ability to operate and maneuver vehicle in a safe and efficient manner including backing/utilizing mirrors. Obeying and following applicable traffic laws. Operating vehicle in accord with existing conditions,nighttime,hazardous road conditions. Perform pre trip and post trip vehicle inspections. Comply with requirements to maintain driver's license. Loading and unloading freight by hand. Frequent lifting up to 60 lbs. Some deliveries are on pallets which are loaded and unloaded by customer with a forklift. Some pickup or delivery locations have docks while others will require bringing packages inside with the use of a 2 wheel dolly. Securing cargo and properly arranging weight distribution within the vehicle. Utilize straps to secure freight when necessary. Requirements: Valid driver's license. Class E driver's license required for Missouri residents. Clean driving record. Background check. Human Performance Evaluation Physical. Pre-Placement drug screen. Able to safely drive a cargo van.
