Courier/Delivery Driver
MJR Trucking Ltd.Job Summary As a Courier/Delivery Driver, you’ll transport and deliver packages or freight safely and reliably, plan efficient routes, and keep delivery records accurate. Your work helps customers receive their shipments on time and gives colleagues clear updates on delivery progress. Responsibilities Load, secure, transport, and deliver packages or freight while following assigned routes and handling instructions. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips, report issues promptly, and keep it clean and orderly. Confirm deliveries, maintain accurate records, and communicate delays or shipment concerns to colleagues. Use safe material-handling practices when moving freight and coordinate with others at pickup and delivery locations. Requirements Required: Practical commercial driving capability, safe vehicle operation, route awareness, accurate recordkeeping, and clear communication are essential to completing deliveries reliably. Preferred: Experience handling freight, equipment use, and basic vehicle care. Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Experience: Delivery driver: 3 years (preferred) Language: English (preferred) Licence/Certification: Class 5 Licence (preferred) Location: Edmonton, AB T5A 0T6 (preferred) Work Location: In person
