Responsibilities Safely operate your personal vehicle or commercial vehicle, such as a box truck or van, to transport medical items between clinics, laboratories, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safety protocols during all driving activities Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs using mobile devices or delivery management systems Ensure the secure handling of sensitive medical materials through proper manual handling practices and safe lifting techniques Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during interactions with healthcare staff and clients Experience Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in a warehouse or delivery environment Experience operating box trucks, cargo vans, or commercial trucks with manual transmissions is advantageous Familiarity with route planning, traffic regulations, and DOT compliance is beneficial Strong organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining accuracy Comfort using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes Knowledge of warehouse operations or material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks enhances suitability for this role This position offers an engaging opportunity for motivated individuals who thrive on independence and delivering exceptional service.
