Courier
Wellness PointePosition Summary The courier assists in the movement of all incoming and outgoing mail, and documents to various Wellness Pointe locations. The courier is also responsible for daily post office and bank runs. Courier may also assist with the delivery of supplies. This is a part time position. Minimum Requirements Must be at least 26 years old High school diploma or equivalent Good reading, writing and communication skills Requires a valid Texas Driver's License, appropriate driving record, and auto liability insurance that meets the minimum required by the state of Texas. Must have reliable transportation Mental and Physical health sufficient to meet the demands of the position Essential Functions Retrieves, sorts, and delivers mail to appropriate departments Gathers deposits from various locations and makes daily bank runs. Delivers change orders to PSRs after bank run Collects and distributes interoffice mail and medical records As available, coordinates department delivery from materials. Carries out other duties as assigned Required Skills Superior organization and problem solving skills Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills The ability work independently and effectively under pressure Energetic, forward - thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional images. Physical Requirements Requires sitting, standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires driving with repeated stops and starts, getting in and out of the vehicle. Requires working under stressful conditions. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to work with a moderate noise level in the work environment is required. The occupant may, at times, lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
