Coupa Business Analyst

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Coupa Business Analyst with strong expertise in Procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes to support Coupa Procurement initiatives, business process improvements, integrations, testing, and deployment activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Coupa Procurement, Supplier Management, Requisitioning, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Approvals, and procurement workflows , along with a strong understanding of enterprise ERP integrations, particularly Coupa and Oracle ERP . The role will work closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Compliance, IT, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and deliver effective Coupa solutions. Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills 6+ years of Business Analysis experience with strong expertise in Procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. Strong hands-on experience with Coupa Procurement , including: Supplier Management Requisitioning Purchase Orders Invoicing Approvals and approval workflows Strong understanding of procurement controls, compliance requirements, approval hierarchies, and P2P business processes . Experience working with Coupa integrations with Oracle ERP and other enterprise applications. Experience with third-party risk management platforms such as Exiger . Strong ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements . Experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories . Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect triage, deployment, and production support . Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Compliance, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Lead requirements-gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process discovery sessions for Coupa Procurement initiatives. Analyze current-state and future-state Procurement and P2P processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization. Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation . Coordinate integration activities between Coupa, Oracle ERP, Exiger, and other enterprise applications . Work closely with technical and integration teams to define functional requirements for inbound and outbound interfaces . Analyze integration data flows, business rules, validation requirements, and exception scenarios. Review data conversion and migration requirements and perform business validation of migrated records. Develop and execute UAT plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts . Support SIT and UAT activities and coordinate with business users to validate system functionality. Facilitate defect triage, prioritization, tracking, and resolution across business, vendor, and technical teams. Support go-live readiness, deployment planning, cutover activities, and post-production stabilization . Develop and maintain BRDs, process flows, functional specifications, training materials, SOPs, and operational documentation . Support business users through training, knowledge transfer, and adoption activities. Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, compliance, user experience, and process controls . Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
