Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating automotive parts, accessories, and related products with enthusiasm and professionalism Provide detailed product information, including automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, and repair procedures to help customers make informed decisions Manage sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cashing duties, and process payments efficiently Maintain inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing parts, conducting inventory management tasks, and ensuring stock accuracy through automotive parts management systems Build lasting customer relationships through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions for vehicle maintenance or repair services Collaborate with the service team to facilitate order fulfillment, ensure timely delivery of parts, and support automotive repair processes Utilize organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy, update product displays, and manage stock levels effectively using inventory management tools like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Experience Previous experience in dealership or retail sales environments within the automotive industry is highly preferred Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist customers effectively Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base better Familiarity with automotive parts sales, accessories sales, and auto parts management systems enhances your ability to succeed in this role Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous Experience with POS systems, inventory control processes, and customer relationship building techniques will set you apart Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining stock levels and managing order fulfillment processes Join us as a Counterperson where your passion for automobiles meets your talent for sales and customer service.
