Counter Sales, Customer Service, Delivery Driver

Job Overview We are looking for a dynamic, customer-service-oriented In-Store Sales Associate and delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle customer inquiries, sell products to walk-in and preferred customers. This role is perfect for someone with knowledge of welding or who wants to learn and gain knowledge of the trade. Must be able to give instructions , read a tape measure, open or close business, and manage some operations. Duties Provide exceptional customer service at the counter, assisting shoppers with product inquiries and sales transactions Prepare and organize merchandise for sale, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels Load, unload, and handle products using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Load and secure goods onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items through manual lifting or mechanical aids Deliver products to customers’ locations efficiently while following designated routes and checklist customer shipping list. Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving stock, maintaining cleanliness, and managing storage areas Load and unload shipments at the shop or warehouse using appropriate tools like pallet jacks or forklifts Maintain accurate delivery documentation, route logs, and inventory records for smooth operations Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, customer requests, or issues encountered during routes Experience Prior experience in customer service within retail or shop environments is highly valued Proven delivery driver experience, especially with Flat bed or similar commercial vehicles Familiarity with route driving and load/unload procedures in a fast-paced setting Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is preferred Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe manual handling practices Valid driver’s license (5 Years ) with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is a plus Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently (if applicable) Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries and customer interactions efficiently Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
