Allen County Department of Job and Family ServicesWe are seeking a dynamic and customer focused Counter/Inside Sales Associate to join our team. In this fast paced and energetic environment, you will be the front-line ambassador providing exceptional service and expertise in the sales of HVAC and Plumbing supplies. Duties: Assist customers in selecting plumbing and HVAC supplies, providing expert advice on product features and compatibility. Process sales transactions efficiently using order management systems. Manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock counts and part sourcing. Coordinate with suppliers to source parts, negotiate pricing and maintain strong supplier relationships. Support warehouse operations by organizing shipping & receiving activities, maintaining logistics inventory management, and ensuring proper parts administration. Maintain internal communication channels to update team members on stock availability, demand planning and procurement status. Requirements: Experience in HAVC and or Plumbing field, supplies, and application. Proven experience in sales. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Strong computer skills, e-mail ,knowledge of website and intranet. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
