Costing & Inventory Controller
Fashion Ave.Costing & Inventory Controller Full-Time | High-Volume Operations A leading Fashion Company in NYC is seeking a Costing & Inventory Controller to join our team. Responsibilities: Own product costing, including standard costs, variance analysis, and margin reporting Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations, and month-end close Track and investigate shrinkage, write-offs, and obsolete stock Partner with purchasing, warehouse, and finance teams to improve cost visibility and reduce waste Prepare weekly and monthly reports for leadership Strengthen inventory controls and recommend process improvements Skills: 5+ years in cost accounting, inventory control, or a similar role Experience in a high-volume environment (manufacturing and distribution Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP/inventory systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) Sharp attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies fast Clear communicator who can work with both the floor and the front office Accounting or finance degree preferred Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid sick time Vision insurance Work Location: In person
