Verify patient identity and label specimens accurately to ensure traceability. Follow all safety, confidentiality, and compliance policies at all times. Meet daily/weekly collection targets and contribute to pipeline-based goals. Demonstrate accountability for personal performance and contribute to overall performance metrics. Record accurate data in the electronic health records system. Communicate test status and any issues to supervisors and healthcare staff. Participate in ongoing training to expand skills and prepare for advancement. Document and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly. Maintain clean and organized phlebotomy area and equipment. Assist with inventory management of phlebotomy supplies and order replenishments. Support teamwork inquiries and collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient flow. Experience/Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or eligible, with basic blood collection training. BLS Certification through the AHA. Accurate patient identification and specimen labeling practices. Compliance with safety, confidentiality, and regulatory policies. Ability to meet daily collection targets and contribute to pipeline goals. Proficiency in electronic health records data entry and recordkeeping. Strong communication to relay test status and issues to supervisors. Detail-oriented with meticulous specimen handling and labeling. On-site availability with ability to work part-time shifts.
