Come develop your career with an award-winning, customer focused automotive group. We're looking for a CORPORATE USED CAR BUYER to join our team at FRIENDSHIP AUTOMOTIVE! What You'll Do: Engage with dealership leadership to identify used inventory needs across all 15 locations based on market trends, customer demand, and dealership sales Evaluate vehicle condition, acquisition costs, and potential profitability Purchase used vehicles through auctions, dealerships, social media, and other buying sources Negotiate purchase prices to ensure value while meeting company buying standards Collaborate with Acquisition Specialists to support and maximize trade-in opportunities Build and maintain relationships with auctions, wholesalers, and dealership partners Coordinate vehicle delivery and allocation to maximize profitability Maintain accurate purchasing records in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements Qualification Checklist: Previous experience in used car buying, wholesale purchasing, or automotive management preferred Strong knowledge of used vehicle values, market trends, and auction processes Experience with vehicle appraisal tools, auction platforms, and inventory systems Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Ability to make sound purchasing decisions and work independently Valid driver's license with a good driving record Willingness to travel to dealerships and auctions as needed Compensation and Benefits: You'll have a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, paid time off, company holidays, 401(k), and various wellness and gym reimbursements.
