What You'll Do

  • Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures
  • Embrace and promote E2 Optics Core Values to support a family-centric workplace culture. 
  • Utilize internal computer systems, including ticketing platforms and cloud-based business management tools, to manage daily tasks. 
  • Maintain a consistent presence at your workstation during business hours to monitor and manage the ticketing platform, ensuring timely processing of requests and efficient workflow. 
  • Create and update E2 purchase orders in accordance with company standards and procedures. 
  • Create and update E2 projects in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Process credit card requests, validate transactions, accurately record expenses to ensure proper documentation and timely submission for reimbursement. 
  • Process Amazon purchase requests in accordance with company standards. Communicate order tracking details and proactively resolve any issues or problems that arise to ensure timely and accurate delivery. 
  • Arrange flights, transportation, and lodging for E2 employees, ensuring all travel accommodations align with company policies and employee needs. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and proactively propose, develop and support the implementation of more accurate and efficient processes and practices.
  • Perform special projects as assigned, in support of departmental or organizational goals. 
  • Proactively address issues and situations, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution. 
  • Issue and coordinate Certificate of Insurance requests for E2 Operations as needed
  • Travel is expected to be limited; however, the individual must be able and willing to travel as needed to 
    support operational requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or post-secondary education in business or operations support is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations support, administrative support, or related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience coordinating day-to-day operational tasks, vendor communications, or project support activities is preferred.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, scheduling, or travel coordination is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated and dependable, with strong work ethic.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, workflows, and deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Positive attitude with strong customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English for effective phone, in-person, and email communication

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
